Type Rating Training

We are a registered TRTO (Type Rating Training Organisation) offering the following helicopter type ratings:

Schweizer 300
Robinson R22
Robinson R44
Bell 206 Jet Ranger
EC120

The type rating can be conducted immediately after the completion of a PPL - H. We have a structured syllabus available on each type of aircraft and each course will also include between 5-10 hours of ground school.

When progressing from piston engine helicopters to turbine engine helicopters, additional time is spent on turbine theory as well as the additional considerations required when flying an aircraft of this type. The flight syllabus contains a variety of exercises, which cover everything from daily pre-flight checks to emergencies and aircraft loading.
